By combining “Chinese” and “Fun”, SG Chinese FunFest explores the diverse ways Chinese can be expressed in contemporary society. Through accessible, meaningful, and relatable programming, it seeks to integrate Chinese culture into everyday life, enhancing public understanding, appreciation, and use of the language.
The festival features a vibrant mix of carnival, talks, book fair, and family-oriented activities, showcasing the contemporary relevance and social value of Chinese culture while creating a cross-generational celebration for all.
Lianhe Zaobao (LHZB) is the flagship Chinese-language daily of SPH Media and is the most widely read Chinese-language news media in Singapore, widely recognised for its trusted and unbiased journalism. Besides the daily newspaper, local readers and audiences from around the world access LHZB’s content via its website and apps. Shin Min Daily News is a Chinese evening newspaper focusing on the bread and butter issues affecting you and me. Shin Min also actively participates in and supports cultural events, contributing to the development of local cultural uniqueness and the promotion of social cohesion.
The Chinese Media Group has two Chinese radio stations. 96.3 Hao FM is a nostalgic Chinese radio station playing classic hits from the 80s to the 90s, and delivers bite-sized content on lifestyle, healthcare and financial planning.
UFM100.3 is an upbeat Chinese radio station playing Mandarin pop from the 2000s, mainly serving those aged 25 to 44. The annual U1000 Music Countdown is a highly popular signature campaign which attracts strong turnout at the finale event every year.

HeyKaki is a social media channel that creates primarily Chinese-language video content with English subtitles, focusing on lifestyle, entertainment, and finance for youths aged 19 to 26.
