Tan Ooi Boon, Invest Editor of The Straits Times since 2020, is known for his clear and practical personal finance columns. A trained lawyer with experience in law, crime reporting, and business development at SPH, he brings a unique perspective to money matters. His work to improve financial literacy earned ST Invest a 2021 award from the Securities Investors Association Singapore. He has authored eight books, including Always Have Enough Money, a 2022 Popular Readers’ Choice finalist.
