条款与细则
本活动面向所有公众开放，但 SPH Media（以下简称”SPH”）员工、游戏伙伴、赞助商及其直系家属除外。本活动受以下条款与细则（以下简称”条款与细则”）约束。参与本活动即表示您同意并接受本条款与细则的所有条款，包括 SPH 不时自行修改的内容。您继续参与本活动即视为您已同意受本条款与细则约束：
参与资格
所有参与者须若要累积分数，须成为早报注册用户。
本活动包含多个线上赛季，各赛季的具体起止日期以游戏内公告为准。线上赛季结束后，将转入线下总决赛阶段。
注册
每位参与者将分配一个（1）游戏账号。该账号下所获得的荣耀值、会员积分、道具及其他奖励均不可转让。
每位参与者仅限注册一个 mySPH 账号。若参与者注册了多个 mySPH 账号，较新的账号将被取消资格。
参与者须在首次登录后选择一个昵称和一个社区阵营。阵营一经选定不可更改。
昵称须为 2 至 10 个中文字符、英文字母或数字，不得包含特殊符号或空格，且不得与其他玩家重复。
SPH 保留因违反本条款与细则而终止参与者注册的权利。
游戏规则与赛季
本活动由多个赛季组成，各赛季的具体起止日期以游戏内公告为准。各赛季之间的过渡日期为预热期。
每个赛季内，排行榜按固定周期统计，具体周期长度及赛季内周榜轮次以游戏内规则说明页面为准。
参与者通过回答游戏中的知识问答题目获取荣耀值（Crystals）。具体的答题数量、时间限制、计分规则、道具使用规则及其他游戏玩法细节以游戏内规则说明页面为准。
SPH 保留随时调整答题规则、计分方式、道具功能及其他游戏机制的权利，恕不另行通知。
排行榜与排名
排行榜包括个人排行榜（社区排名及全服排名）和区划排行榜（社区周榜及社区赛季榜），分别按周和按赛季统计。
个人排行榜依据个人累计荣耀值排名，区划排行榜依据该社区所有用户累计荣耀值排名。
周榜每个周期最后一天 24:00 锁定，赛季榜于赛季结束后锁定。
领取社区周榜或赛季榜奖励的前提条件为：参与者在本周或本赛季至少完成一（1）次答题（无论正确率）。
个人可同时获得社区赛季榜与全服赛季榜奖励（积分可叠加）。
SPH 对排行榜排名及奖励发放事宜拥有最终决定权，该决定对所有参与者具有终局和约束力。
荣耀值与会员积分
荣耀值为核心竞技指标，仅可通过答题获得，用于确定个人及区划排名。荣耀值不具有现金价值，不可兑换现金，不可在参与者之间转让。
会员积分与早报现有会员积分体系互通，可通过完成任务及排行榜奖励获得。积分可用于在早报积分商城兑换奖品。
荣耀值和会员积分的更新可能需要最多一（1）个工作日进行处理。
赛季结束后，未兑换的会员积分的有效期按照早报积分商城的规则执行；荣耀值将被锁定归档至荣耀殿堂，不可进一步使用。
您账号中累积的任何荣耀值及会员积分仍归 SPH 所有。荣耀值与会员积分不赋予任何参与者既有权利或利益。
在积分奖励系统内，SPH 有权自行决定取消、删除或扣减荣耀值和会员积分。SPH 可在必要时延迟确认通过违反本条款与细则或滥用活动所获得的积分或荣耀值。
任务中心
日常任务与周常任务 仅在赛季开启期可完成。赛季预热期间，常规任务按钮显示”待开启”。
任务奖励包括：会员积分、额外答题机会、随机道具（”帮我赢”、”时间暂停”、”换题卡”中随机一个）。
日常任务奖励须在当天内领取，周常任务奖励须在当周内领取，逾期未领取视为放弃。
邀请任务 在赛季预热期和赛季开启期均可完成。每个用户拥有唯一的邀请码，可分享给其他用户。被邀请的用户登录后在游戏中填写邀请码完成绑定，双方均获得奖励。
每个用户在整个游戏期间仅可绑定一（1）个他人的邀请码。
邀请人每成功邀请一位用户完成绑定，可获得 100 会员积分和一（1）次额外答题机会，每赛季最多领取十（10）次邀请奖励。
SPH 保留在发现刷量、互刷邀请或其他滥用邀请系统行为时，取消相关奖励并采取处分措施的权利。
积分兑换
仅经 SPH 正式处理并发放的会员积分方可用于兑换。
兑换一经完成不可退款，所发放的奖品不可兑换为现金或其他物品。
使用会员积分兑换实物奖品后，须前往 SPH 指定地点现场签收领取。领取时须提供有效身份证明，具体地址和办公时间将在奖品通知中提供。
早报应用
“Glory of Singa”答题竞赛活动支持通过联合早报 APP（Apple iOS 及 Android）及联合早报 PC 官网参与。
在早报 APP 环境下，系统将自动验证 SPH Media 登录态以实现免登录；在未登录状态下，用户将进入访客模式。
访客模式下不记录任何用户数据。用户须登录后方可进入正式游戏流程并累计荣耀值和会员积分。
决定权
我们不负责任何归因于早报应用、早报官网、第三方服务提供商之技术故障或错误所导致的荣耀值、会员积分、道具或答题记录的差错、遗漏、延误或损失。
SPH 保留对任何参与者及其注册账号采取 SPH 认为合适的修正、弥补或预防性行动的权利，以确保活动的持续运作及/或保障其他参与者的权益。
SPH 有权自行决定修改或下线本活动的任何功能。SPH 就活动所有事务所作出的决定均为最终和具有约束力的。
若 SPH 发现任何参与者行为不实，包括但不限于恶意提供虚假信息、冒充其他玩家、侵入系统或其他玩家账号、使用自动化工具批量作答、恶意利用系统漏洞获取荣耀值或积分，SPH 有权废除该参与者的全部荣耀值及积分、取消其参与资格，并保留报警或通知相关监管机构的权利。
无论参与者是否违反本条款与细则，我们在未提前通知的情况下均可自行决定暂停或终止其注册。
免责声明
在法律允许的范围内，我们否认 SPH 及赞助商的职员、雇员、代理和/或服务供应商所作的任何及所有保证、陈述或声明。在出现争端时，参与者须放弃对 SPH 及任何赞助商的所有索赔。
SPH 及赞助商不对参与者或其他人因本活动或任何相关事宜而遭受的任何性质的损失、损害、困扰、不便、成本或费用（包括但不限于与其代理、承包商、职员与雇员相关的行为、遗漏、疏忽或违约）承担责任。
如因特殊原因无法提供原定奖品，赞助商保留以等值或更高价值奖品替代的权利，SPH 对此不承担任何责任。
信息保护
您在此同意我们收集、使用和/或披露您的个人信息用于本活动相关的用途。我们可能收集以下个人信息：您的姓名、出生日期、性别、联系电话、邮政编码、电子邮件地址、邮寄地址、兴趣，以及您提供给 SPH、任何赞助商及其职员、雇员、代理、服务提供商、业务伙伴和关联公司的其他信息（包括反馈和查询）；在您参与活动过程中可能收集的任何个人信息；作为活动推广或活动一部分所拍摄的照片和视频录像等信息。
您同意 SPH 使用和/或披露个人信息用于组织、管理和开展活动推广、将您的个人信息与因其他目的及来自其他第三方来源所收集的数据进行匹配，以提供或推荐产品和服务（无论由 SPH、任何赞助商、其关联方及相关方提供）。您可以通过所提供的退订机制或联系我们来撤回您的同意。
您声明并保证，您在申请和注册时提供的所有信息均为真实、准确和最新的。
您可以通过向我们提供书面通知来撤回对收集、使用和/或披露您的个人数据的同意。您同意并承认，若您撤回此等同意，我们可能无法提供和管理您的注册、荣耀值、会员积分及兑换。自我们正式确认您撤回同意之日起三十（30）天后，您的注册和本活动下的权益将终止。终止后，SPH 将完全免除本协议下的任何义务。
我们可自行决定与第三方共享汇总的非个人数据，包括但不限于关联公司、合作伙伴、营销和广告伙伴以及任何其他第三方。
以上条款仅适用于”Glory of Singa”答题竞赛活动。有关早报其他产品的数据使用，请参阅 SPH 的网站条件和隐私权政策。
概括
适用法律：本条款与细则应根据新加坡法律进行管辖、解释和执行。所有参与者同意受新加坡法院的专属管辖权约束。
豁免权：SPH 未行使本条款与细则项下的任何权利或救济，不构成对该等权利或救济的放弃。
可分割性：本条款与细则中的每一条款均可分割且独立解释。若任何条款在任何时候被认定为无效、不合法或无法执行，其余条款的有效性、合法性和可执行性不受影响。
修正：SPH 保留不时修改本条款与细则的权利，恕不另行通知。您继续参与本活动即视为您已同意修改后的条款与细则。
第三方权利：本条款与细则不旨在授予任何第三方执行任何条款的权利。特此排除《合同第三方权利法》（第 53B 章）。
转让：SPH 可在不事先通知或征得参与者同意的情况下，将其在本活动项下的全部或部分权利和义务转让给任何其他人或实体。
完整协议：本协议构成 SPH 与您之间关于本活动所有事项的完整协议，取代先前所有书面文件、同意和讨论。
若本条款与细则的中文版本与英文版本有任何不一致之处，以英文版本为准。

Terms and Conditions
This contest is open to all readers of zaobao.sg, except employees of SPH Media (”SPH”), the Sponsors, and their immediate family members. This contest shall be governed by these terms and conditions (”Terms and Conditions”). By participating in this contest, you agree to all the Terms and Conditions set forth herein, including any amendments to these Terms and Conditions that SPH may make at its sole discretion from time to time. By your continued participation in the contest, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions:
ELIGIBILITY
All participants must be registered users of Zaobao and at least sixteen (16) years old.
The contest consists of multiple online seasons. The specific start and end dates of each season are as announced in-game. Upon conclusion of the online seasons, the contest will transition into an offline Grand Final phase.
Employees of SPH and the Sponsors, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
REGISTRATION
Each participant will be issued with one (1) game account. Crystals, Reward Points, power-ups, and any other rewards earned under this account are non-transferable.
Each participant is only allowed to register one mySPH account per person. In the event that a participant has registered more than one mySPH account, the more recent account(s) will be disqualified.
Upon first login, each participant must select a display name and a Community District. Once selected, the faction cannot be changed.
Display names must consist of 2 to 10 Chinese characters, English letters, or digits, and must not contain special characters or spaces. Display names must be unique among all players.
SPH reserves the right to terminate registrations for breach of these Terms and Conditions.
GAME RULES AND SEASONS
The contest consists of multiple seasons. The specific start and end dates of each season are as announced in-game. Transition dates between seasons serve as pre-season warm-up periods.
Within each season, leaderboards are tabulated on a periodic basis. The specific cycle length and number of leaderboard periods per season are as set out on the in-game rules page.
Participants earn Crystals by answering knowledge quiz questions within the game. The specific number of questions per session, time limits, scoring rules, power-up usage rules, and other gameplay details are as set out on the in-game rules page.
SPH reserves the right to adjust quiz rules, scoring methods, power-up features, and other game mechanics at any time without prior notice.
LEADERBOARDS AND RANKINGS
Leaderboards include Individual Leaderboards (district ranking and overall ranking) and District Leaderboards (district weekly and district seasonal), tabulated weekly and seasonally respectively.
Individual leaderboards rank participants by their cumulative Crystals. District leaderboards rank each district by the combined cumulative Crystals of all its members.
Weekly leaderboards are locked on the last day at 24:00. Seasonal leaderboards are locked at the conclusion of each season.
To be eligible for district weekly or seasonal leaderboard rewards, a participant must have completed at least one (1) quiz session during that week or season (regardless of accuracy).
A participant may simultaneously receive rewards from both the district seasonal leaderboard and the overall server seasonal leaderboard (Reward Points may be accumulated).
SPH’s decision on all matters regarding leaderboard rankings and reward distribution shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all participants.
CRYSTALs AND REWARD POINTS
Crystals are the primary competitive metric. They can only be earned through quiz gameplay and are used to determine individual and district rankings. Crystals have no cash value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable between participants.
Reward Points are integrated with the existing Zaobao membership points system and may be earned by completing tasks and through leaderboard rewards. Reward Points may be used to redeem specially curated prizes in the Zaobao Points Store.
Updates to Crystals and Reward Points may take up to one (1) working day to process.
After a season ends, any unredeemed Reward Points remain subject to the terms and expiry rules of the Zaobao Points Store. Crystals will be locked and archived in the Hall of Glory and may not be further used.
Any Crystals and Reward Points accrued in your account remain the property of SPH. Crystals and Reward Points do not entitle any participant to a vested right or interest.
Within the game system, Crystals and Reward Points may be cancelled, deleted, or deducted at SPH’s sole discretion. SPH may delay for as long as necessary the confirmation process for any points that may have been earned in breach of these Terms and Conditions or through abuse of the contest.
TASK CENTRE
Daily and Weekly Tasks may only be completed during the active season period. During pre-season warm-up periods, regular task buttons will display “Coming Soon”.
Task rewards include: Reward Points, additional quiz attempts, and random power-ups (one of “Help Me Win”, “Time Freeze”, or “Swap Card” selected at random).
Daily task rewards must be claimed on the same day. Weekly task rewards must be claimed within the same week. Unclaimed rewards are forfeited.
Referral Tasks may be completed during both pre-season and active season periods. Each user has a unique referral code that may be shared with other users. When a referred user logs in and enters the referral code, the binding is completed and both parties receive rewards.
Each user may only bind one (1) referral code from another user during the entire contest period.
For each successful referral binding, the referrer receives 100 Reward Points and one (1) additional quiz attempt, up to a maximum of ten (10) referral rewards per season.
SPH reserves the right to cancel related rewards and take disciplinary action upon discovery of any reward manipulation, mutual referral abuse, or other misuse of the referral system.
POINTS REDEMPTION
Only Reward Points which have been duly processed and awarded by SPH may be redeemed.
Redemption once completed cannot be refunded, and rewards issued cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items.
Physical prizes redeemed with Reward Points must be collected in person at the designated locations. A valid form of identification is required for collection. The specific address and office hours will be provided in the rewards notification.
ZAOBAO APP
The “Glory of Singa” quiz competition is accessible via the Zaobao app (Apple iOS and Android) and the Zaobao PC website.
Within the Zaobao app environment, the system will automatically verify the SPH Media login status for seamless access. Users who are not logged in will enter Guest Mode.
Guest Mode does not record any user data or progress. Users must log in to enter the official game and accumulate Crystals and Reward Points.
DISCRETION
We are not responsible for any error, omission, delay, or loss of Crystals, Reward Points, power-ups, or quiz records as a result of technical malfunction or any error attributed to the Zaobao App, the Zaobao website, or any of SPH’s staff, employees, agents, or service providers.
SPH reserves the right to take any corrective, remedial, or preventive actions to any participant and their game account as it deems fit to ensure the continued operation of the contest and/or protect the interests of other participants.
SPH has sole discretion to edit, modify, or take offline any feature of this contest from time to time as it deems fit. SPH’s decision on all matters regarding the contest shall be final and conclusive.
If SPH discovers that any participant has acted maliciously or dishonestly, including but not limited to submitting false information, impersonating another player, hacking into systems or another player’s account, using automated tools for mass answering, or exploiting system vulnerabilities to gain Crystals or Reward Points, SPH shall revoke all of that participant’s Crystals and Reward Points, disqualify the participant, and reserves the right to report the participant to the police or any relevant governing authority.
Notwithstanding and without prejudice to any other terms in these Terms and Conditions, we have sole discretion to suspend or terminate your registration entirely without prior notice for any reason whatsoever as we deem fit, regardless of whether you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, we hereby disclaim any and all warranties, representations, or statements made or given by employees, staff, agents, and/or service providers of SPH and the Sponsors. The participant shall waive all claims against SPH or any of the Sponsors arising from such disputes.
Notwithstanding any other terms and conditions, SPH and the Sponsors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, embarrassment, inconvenience, cost, or expense of any nature (including without limitation for any act, omission, neglect, or breach on the part of their agents, contractors, employees, and staff) arising out of or in connection with the contest in any way that may be suffered or incurred by the participant or any other person.
In the event that the original prize cannot be provided due to unforeseen circumstances, the Sponsors reserve the right to replace it with a prize of equivalent or higher value. SPH shall not be held liable for any such replacement.
DATA PROTECTION
You hereby acknowledge and consent to the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal data in relation to your registration and participation. We may collect the following personal data: your name, date of birth, gender, contact number, postal code, email address, mailing address, interests, and other information provided by you, including feedback and queries, to SPH, any Sponsor, and the staff, employees, agents, service providers, business partners, and affiliates of SPH and any Sponsor; any personal data collected in relation to your participation and interaction in connection with products, services, promotions, and events under the contest; any personal data such as photographs and video recordings taken as part of promotions or events run for participants as part of the contest; and information in relation to your use of the Zaobao app and website.
You also agree to SPH’s use and/or disclosure of personal data for organising, administering, and conducting promotional events as part of the contest, and for matching your personal data with other data collected for other purposes and from other third-party sources in connection with the provision or offering of products and services, whether by SPH, any Sponsors, and their affiliates and related parties. You may withdraw your consent via any unsubscribe mechanisms provided or by contacting us.
You represent and warrant that all information provided by you in connection with your application and registration is true, accurate, and up to date.
You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal data by providing written notice to us. You agree and acknowledge that if you withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal data, we may not be able to provide and administer your registration, Crystals, Reward Points, and/or redemption under the contest. Upon such withdrawal of consent, your registration and privileges under this contest will terminate upon thirty (30) days after formal acknowledgment of your withdrawal of consent by us. Upon termination, SPH shall be fully released from any obligations under this Agreement.
We may, at our sole discretion, share aggregated, non-personal data with third parties, including but not limited to affiliates, related partners, marketing and advertising partners, and any other third party.
These terms apply solely to the “Glory of Singa” quiz competition. For data usage related to other Zaobao products, please refer to SPH’s Website Conditions and Privacy Policy.
GENERAL
Governing Law. These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of Singapore. All participants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Waiver. A failure by SPH to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or remedy.
Severability. Each of these Terms and Conditions is severable and distinct from one another. If at any time, any one or more of these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such term or condition shall to that extent be deemed not to form part of these Terms and Conditions, and the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected in any way.
Amendment. We may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. By your continued participation in the contest, you agree to the amended Terms and Conditions.
Rights of Third Parties. These Terms and Conditions are not intended to confer any rights on a third party to enforce any of the terms. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) is hereby excluded.
Assignment. SPH may transfer its rights and obligations, in whole or in part, in relation to this contest to any other person or entity without prior notice or consent of participants.
Entire Agreement. This Agreement supersedes all prior writings, consents, and discussions made hereto, and constitutes the whole Agreement existing between SPH and you.
In the event of any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
